The heating mantle PCE-HM 5000 is used in applications where samples or liquids must be heated in the laboratory quickly. The piston may have a volume of up to 5 liters and is set for heating in the crocheted net heating mantle. Here it is heated by the heating elements with a power of 800 W, and the temperature can be adjusted using the rotary switch on the heating mantle continuously up to 450 °C.
